I made an appointment to have my oil/filter change. They said they were busy that day but would do it inbetween jobs. At first I was a bit annoyed by that statement as I had made an appointment. He explained that when I made the appointment I told him that I would drop off the car and would not wait for it. If I had needed it in an hour, I would have had to schedule it another day. I said that was fine. I then told him I would need my car in a few hours and it was done.... no problem. Just communicate clearly what you need and they will tell you what they can do.

The guys are very easy to work with and did a great job on my car.I checked prices at a couple of other quality shops in my neighbor hood and found South Denver Auto to be a great value for the high quality of work they perform.

I found South Denver Automotive after I bought my own car and needed a good, local service center where I could get my quarterly oil changes (without continuing to over-pay at the dealer). I immediately felt as though this was a place where I can pay a fair price and receive respect, service and reliability in return. Almost every time I come in, Shelby or Steve takes care of me, and seeing the same people taking pride in their work puts me more at ease. I now trust them with everything else on top of the basic oil change. They honestly explain any problems they find, always asking what questions I have. It's important to me to find a place that is professional, fair and reliable, and I think I've found that in South Denver Automotive. They even send monthly coupons, which can be a real help when it comes to saving a few dollars on car service.

I've taken my vehicle here only two times but will continue to do so for as long as I live here. They are extremely thorough and have always been upfront about all of the costs associated with their recommendations.

Tried to rip me off. Told me I needed a new timer belt, $800. I went to the dealer, they said timer belt is fine and it would only cost $450 to replace. I went back, and the guy just yelled at me. This place makes most of their money from coupons, not repeat business.
